Perfect.

Yes, on the pretend option, I cannot remember what it was in the 1.x branch, but I'm looking for an option to run and output what it 'would have done' without actually doing anything. Meaning, I found this information to sync, and this is where it will go.

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks,

Shannon

Hi Shannon,
You may remove or ignore the serverType which is used only when binding to the source directory in a asynchronous "on-the-fly" synchronization
mode: this is a mode that starts the LSC as a daemon and pull the
directories for updates and the Active Directory way is not currently
supported by the LSC.
Can you give me some explanations about the pre-run/pretend need ?

Excellent.

I see OpenLDAPserverType>. Can you tell me the other options,
specifically for AD?

Also, is there a pre-run/pretend command line option?

Thanks again!

Hi Shannon,
Please find attached a sample that synchronize two directories. As
you
will see the source and destination settings are almost the same.

Good day.

Using the example lsc.xlm-sample, I see the necessary parameters
below for destination ldap services, but the example uses a db
for the
source. I didn't see any updated documentation for the 2.0 branch
(sorry if I missed it).

Can you provide a same source ldap service config with some
comments,
or is the same, or?? For reference, this will be used to sync AD
to
OpenLDAP/389 Server.

Also, I see a doc that talks about the -a -l -s options, but was
wondering if there was a 'pretend' or do-nothing option like on
the
1.x

branch.

Thanks,

Shannon
