quite hard to say. Did you try to set a DEBUG loglevel in logback.xml to
see why entries are not updated? You can also try to run the Rhino
debugger:

If you are able to create new entries, there should be no reason that
you can't update them. Looking into the logs should help you to find
why. Feel free to send some logs to the list so we can help.
