So this is something of a shift from what we've said in the past. That is, I thought that you wanted have documents that are fairly polished and/or authoritative on the docushare, and that we would use the plone for ideas in development, strawmen, notes, and recorded discussion. A plone, I believe, is much more conducive to the latter because of one's ability to edit web pages directly (as opposed to depositing a pre-existing document). Maybe docushare is more flexible (I didn't know about the ability to add links). It seemed to me that schema development/exchange is a good thing to have on the plone. Merging efforts aside, I expect that there will be several schemas that we will be prototyping with (as suggested in our telecon discussion today). If we are going to put in an effort into a so-called "merged schema"--essentially a reference design, then I think that makes sense to put in docushare. cheers, Ray _______________________________________________ LSST-data mailing list [email protected] http://www.lsstmail.org/mailman/listinfo/lsst-data
