I am running PS-MOPS on the data that Kem sent us (i.e. three months of cadence simulator output spanning the period October-December 2006).
The first test run raised some issues of scalability of the code (out of memory errors)... Apart from these, I would like to make sure that what I am running is indeed a sensible simulation. For this I would need some advice from you guys in properly setting up the configuration file (in attachment) with LSST specific parameters.
Another thing worth thinking about is that PS-MOPS does NOT use any filter information. This means that the pipeline silently assumes that all fields were observed in the same filter (red) even when that is clearly not the case.
