Hi Ray
For the deep, long-term storage requirements, look at the last page, "DRSize", and the last column giving the total storage costs of all releases over ten years (once every six months).
The summary page (the very first one) is a high level extract that I would suggest to point others to. The DRSize page has a lot of tables and many might find it not obvious which table to look at.
For on-line storage requirements--that is, storage for active database access--consider that we plan to keep on-line the last 2 official releases plus the latest pre-release version. (Did I get that right?)
yes. Again, the summary page has these numbers.
Note that our estimates of the storage requirements for image data has not changed.
also note, that the numbers may change depending on "how close to galactic plane we want to take images" (I heard the numbers +/- x2 being mentioned) thanks, Jacek _______________________________________________ LSST-data mailing list [email protected] http://www.lsstmail.org/mailman/listinfo/lsst-data
