Agenda:

Other Group Topics/Status (Camera/DAQ, Telescope and Site)
WA Simulator is the tool for connecting engineering requirements to SRD.
Did review, do not yet have closure on 15k sq degrees in 10 years. Looking
at exploiting twilight and trading off NEA coverage for Deep Field/DE work.

Data Challenge 1 Stage 1 Execution Status/Results SRB/MCAT configuration
needs to be revisited in light of poor performance, and Stage 1 needs to be
re-executed, SDSC to assist. Will have Michelle Miller only for 1 more
week, need to close on Logging in Stage 2 vs 3. Jon Myers will
assist/understudy Michelle in logging. DB Query is a planned, but
non-essential part of resource consumer simulation in Stage 3, depends on
Robyn¹s progress whether we retain it or not. Ingest is only at the end of
the processing in Stage 3. File format from pipeline to ingest is being
defined today/Monday. Test environment for ingest is next major milestone
for Stage 3, driven now by people¹s away schedules.

Cost Estimate Status/Progress Chris Smith will publish Archive and Data
Access Center CPU profile later today. We will discuss at TechAssessWG on
Monday. Thomas Frey will have uploaded current estimates by Tuesday
evening, so we can do CPU updates on Wednesday, intend to freeze all on
Friday next week (August 4). There was discussion at Don Sweeney¹s telecon
on defining the end of Construction/beginning of Operations relative to
first light in accordance with MREFC guidelines. This will impact spread of
Construction money by an estimated 6 months. Not defined well enough yet to
address in estimates.

Reference Design Baseline/Review Preparations Jeff will publish outline of
tables/diagrams required early next week. Most people in attendance will be
asked to provide material. There will be video access on 8/15 dry run and
8/22 review.
