Don Sweeney - No PM Meeting next week due to Design Reviews. Don will not be in Tucson next week. Board Meeting Staying with plan of record on mirror (i.e. Monolithic M1/M3 cast at Steward Observatory Mirror Lab). Need to use private funds to hold mirror schedule next year, will affect other areas of R&D spending. UC Irvine is now an LSSTC member. Science Collaboration Plan is now approved. Cadence Simulator progress is good, still a bit short of mission requirements but should be doable by proposal due date. Start thinking about agenda items for the All Hands Meeting. MREFC guidelines call for Commissioning phase to be included in proposal. We will add a 1-year commissioning phase starting with first light, increase MREFC budget target to include this. Need to start creating plan for commissioning. Don is suggesting no absences of more than 5 days in the remaining critical proposal period.
Thomas Frey - P3 on-site training is very expensive, wants to do one-day with just Triad/LSSTC around 8/25. Will explore off-site training as well.
