Agenda
Inter-group Topics (Telescope and Site, Camera, System Engineering)
Went over notes from Don Sweeney PM online meeting 20060824 (already posted
to lsst-data)

MREFC Proposal/Reference Design Reviews
Progress of Reviews (Sys Eng Postponed, Science not scheduled, all others
completed)
Draft slideset/storyboard (#2082) has been reviewed with no major
showstoppers, several comments regarding organization, content, and format.
We will now move to writing the text of the proposal, due 9/15/06. Jeff
will restructure the presentation and outline, then assign page counts and
writing assignments next week. Jeff still needs updates to certain
infrastructure slides, for Archive Center and Data Access Centet. These may
also need updates for Query CPU changes Tim and Jacek recently made, will
decide on Jacek's return.

Cost Estimates
Thomas Frey is importing again on today and on Monday, 8/28. Jeff added
in-kind estimates and adjusted some descriptions and labor categories. So
far, we are within budget (barely). We need to start working on estimates
for Commissioning Phase, which according to MREFC guidelines must be in
proposal proper (not Operations Plan). We will increase the proposal budget
to cover this phase work.

DC1
Stage 1 analysis Ray continues to get good transfer results in stand alone
tests. Now working on integration with application. Ray is running Stage 1
today and this weekend. Stage 3 DB ingest should be working today, test on
Monday. Long runs on Tuesday, Wednesday. We are targeting to complete
Stage 3 (first run) next week. We will write DC1 report and decide what to
include in MREFC proposal by 9/15, but may continue to execute additional
runs of Stage 3.

Don Dossa
Working with colleagues on disk reliability, not losing data. Some results
in mailing list soon.

operations.
