Hi Ray,
Jon addressed the errors in an email he sent recently (beware his odd
system clock, which shows mail sent much earlier than it really
was...). So, I think we have the logging errors under control. But
there is real weirdness in the run times - see the same email for the
numbers - which we're trying to understand at the moment.
nlv is working well for us, though it can't swallow the entire log file
from our biggest runs - Jon can provide you with the latest config files.
Cheers,
Tim

Hi DC1ers,
I see from the standard error from the last stage3 run
(Final/LsstStage3_Final) that we are still seeing some logging-related
errors ("Too many open files"). What's our assessment of this? Is this a
serious error? Has it been fixed?
Also, perhaps this one's for Jonathan or Tim: have you attempted to use
the nlv visualizer with the NetLogger log file? I've not been able to get
it to display the data (e.g. a lifeline plot). If you have, could you
send me the config files you used?
thanks,
Ray
