Hi Li Zefan,

It gives us great pleasure to know that people like you need such test
cases. Infact this feature is a new entrant to kernel and will be
subsequently used by lots of people. Hence goes the importance of test
cases like this.
But, simultaneously we expect you to be proactive in telling us how
these test cases are effective to your testing
scenario/environment/requirement. And the logical conclusion from your
side is scores of patches on these test cases itself,
fixing/cleaning-up/enhancing over the top to whatever Sudhir has
written. You might have noticed the way it has happened when we released
KDUMP, UTS/SYSVIPC/PID NAMESPACES, NUMA, RT-LINUX, etc. We found
community jumping in to provide more fixes and enhancements. Similar
needs to be for these CPU controllers as well.
Once last thing, but quite important to us, is, initiating some ground
work from our side as well, i mean to say, new test cases in various
other areas of Kernel Testing. You are free to pick up the domain/area
of your choice, where you might be involved in development/testing, and,
start with contributing testcases in that direction.
LTP lacks testing for countless features in Kernel, and some body
amongst you/your team might have written that code in Kernel. Why a
single test case in that area in not visible is matter of concern and
investigation. I am ready to work with all of you for starting a day
when we can see at least one new test case being contributed in some
area or the other. All the best and happy testing.

Regards--
Subrata
