Hi Christian.  

In addition to answering Subrata's questions below, please provide a URL
so that we can take a look at the testcase and kernel patch you are
proposing for inclusion in ltp/realtime.

Subrata, is there any precedent for including tests that require a
custom kernel patch to run?

o is the patch out of tree?
o how will the patch be maintained?
o can the same tracing not be accomplished with existing mechanisms?
i.e. ftrace?
