When the test fails, the return value from io_submit() is 1. This means
that io_submit successfully submitted one I/O request block for
processing.
        Could you please let me know is it correct behavior to
successfully submit io request for uninitialized iocb with return value
1 (-EPERM).

Hi,
 As requested, Please find the below steps for LTP stress configuration
and execution.
 
The tests must be run on a pair of systems with IP addresses not
configured on the target ports. 
Before starting the LTP Network Stress tests on a pair of systems, copy
the /etc/network/interfaces.ltp file to /etc/network/interfaces on each
system and reboot. 

# cd /etc/network
# cat interfaces.ltp
 
# This file describes the network interfaces available on your system #
and how to activate them. For more information, see interfaces(5).
# The loopback network interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
# The primary network interface
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp
# cp -p interfaces.ltp interfaces
# reboot -f
 
Once the systems have rebooted, start the LTP Network Stress tests on
the target system using the commands: 
 
# cd /opt/tests
# ./Run_all.sh -f ltp_network_stress.conf

After running the ltp_network_stress test cases, I am getting - EPERM
(returned value = 1) as a return value from io_submit. Please let me
know if you need additional information.

Well I think that if you pass random data to the kernel the only
assumption that may hold is that this action should not bring the system
down (unless of course you happen to initiate shutdown).
