All: Doing a quick proof of concept and wanted to use my Armada M700 with PXE to boot off the lts. The laptop uses an Intel 82559 chipset and I thought it may be compatible with lts_kernel_eepro100-2.2-0.i386.rpm.
Just looking to see if anyone has tried this setup before and if that eepro100 driver will work. It connects to the LTS DHCP server, gets an address, then displays (from /var/log/messages): ltsp001 tftpd[981]: tftp: client does not accept options. I've got a desktop and this laptop that I can use for a demo on monday. In your all's opinion, what PCI NIC could I buy at CompUSA this weekend to throw in the desktop that supports PXE to showcase this proof of concept? Just looking for guidance as to what the best NIC would be for this if the laptop doesn't work. Thanks, Charles __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
