Hi Steven,
tank you,
but I don't know where I can download LPRng ,
in /etc/printcap I have already try with the modified printtool of redhat,
the telnet give :
telnet ws002 9100
trying 7.74.32.205
Connected to ws002
Escape character is '^]'
and wait (OK)
cups look this printer like
a socket printer, but is impossible to print test page,
and in the /var/spool/cups I have all the test page but is not
sended at the printer
Manually I have write the printcap and with
cat /etc/dhcpd.conf > /dev/lp
have print some ascii char,
why, when the file is going in /var/spool/cups/ the daemon don't send to the
printer?
Tank in advance
giorgio
