you arent making sense.....

the DFE530TX+ cards work fine with ether boot etc... and linux

there is a specific driver ROM image for dlink dfe530tx+ i dont know why you
would usee the rtl8139 rom
and if you are getting these errors on the clients then why is there a raid
autodetect?

maybe you could explain more and what version of LTSP u are running
