I had a problem with an rtl8139 based nic that was cured by using the rtl8139
kernel rather than the kernel_all. Change the appropriate line in your
dhcpd.conf to allow a different kernel to be sent across.

I've never used local apps, but from what I've seen on the list this feature
is broken in lts-2.08. If you're trying to get a diskless workstation, there
should not be references to local file systems, I would have thought.

Are you certain that this card is based on rtl8139? It seems to want to use
another driver.

03:07 is a local disk (major 3 minor 7 is /dev/hda7 on my machine) Are you
sure this is what you want and not an NFS mounted root fs?
