Din, I can tell you for sure that the SST29EE512-90-4C-PH chips will work with the 3c905B cards.
That is the chip we use in the 3c905b-tx-nm cards that we sell at DisklessWorkstations.Com. That is also the chip we use in the Linksys LNE100TX v4 cards. I'm not sure about the Intel cards though, the Intel eepro100 cards that i've seen either have a soldered on flash chip that can be reprogrammed, or they have a PLCC socket, which is a different chip altogether.
