Both the 3C905B and the Intel Pro 100 network adapters work fine with the
Atmel AT29C512 chip. I know that SST chip should work as well but I'm not
familar with the part number.  I'm sure someone at SST can tell you which of
their chips is compatible with the AT29C512.


However, you must let your supplier know the chip form factor - DIP
(rectangular) or PLCC (square)
