Can someone help this fellow? I'm pretty sure his kernel compile or mknbi (ip=...) settings are wrong, but I don't have time to help him personally.

On the manual i downloaded, it was said that rom-o-matic site was ready to build images for network adapter EPROMs and for floppys. I've had no luck enough to set up properly the linux thin client network, but i've found out that boot disks for ne 2000 made with rom-o-matic, need local hard disks on the workstations, even the LTSP manual says something different. I wish you could give a hand on this, at least a hint to trouble shoot. Here's the message i've keep receiving: Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 03:03 I've check dhcp, nfs and other services, disabled firewall, and nothing happens.
