Full duplex can help a bit, but again, almost ALL of the traffic
in an LTSP environment is being sent from the server, and received
by the workstations. The only traffic going back is the acks and
keyboard and mouse movements, which is small by comparison.
Another possibility is a really good switch with a Gigabit port
for the link between the server and the switch, then 100mbit ports
for the workstations. then you'd really be cooking :)
