I. Edit /etc/X11/XF86Config as below to add tcp to font path

# Multiple FontPath entries are allowed (they are concatenated together)
# By default, Red Hat 6.0 and later now use a font server independent of
# the X server to render fonts.

    FontPath    "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TrueType"
    FontPath   "unix/:7100"
    FontPath   "tcp/localhost:7100"

2. Edit /etc/X11/fs/config to allow listening on tcp port (at end of file) 

    # don't listen to TCP ports by default for security reasons
    #no-listen = tcp

3. Make sure XFS is started on boot, or start it.

4. Add line "USE_XFS = Y to lts.conf

5. Restart your workstation
