I purchased 10 ThinkNICs--I'm using one right now on one of the custom
computer desks I built for them. I am about to order 10 15" LCD monitors
(I have two right now that I've been testing with them).

Sound is a critical factor for me, so I will spend whatever time is
required to get it working. I hope no programming is required. Sound is
the only reason I chose to buy the ThinkNICs over the TCSX-1 (although
the price is also appreciated).

For the future, how are the D810EMO motherboards? I read they only have a
monitor and four USB ports for devices, including keyboard and mouse.
Yet, as I understand, they are fully Linux compatible and have PXE booting
capability.

My shop will open to the public no later than May 1st, although I could
start as soon as March 1st, if all goes smoothly.

I am also trying to come up with a plan to increase outgoing security. I
will need to offer shell access to the public and don't want them hacking
other systems. I think this is a big challenge.. And I will likely need
to write some software to monitor for these kinds of activities.
