The Windows DHCP server is much less capable than Unix ones.
If all your thin clients are identical (network hardware, graphics card) and
none of the network cards need parameters passed to them (IOBASE, IRQ) then
you may be able to manage with the Windows server.
Microsoft is unable to differentiate between clients by MAC address, nor pass
parameters to a booting client.
Also remember that LTSP is network intensive - a 10 Mbit hub will serve an
enterprise Windows network, but you will need 100Mbit, and will appreciate a
Switch over a Hub, in an LTSP environment.
Consider splitting your network into Enterprise vs. LTSP.
Your network administrator will thank you in the long run ..
