Hello,

I have been playing around with the local app stuff and have a couple of
questions.

I have a simple libc5 based application. I moved the required libs into
/usr/i486-linux-libc5/lib/. Do I have to run ldconfig or do some other
configuration to tell the thin client where the libraries are?

I copied wc into the /opt/ltsp/i386/bin directory and then went to the
thin client and it executed the command fine. I have not set up any NIS
at this point and was wondering if the NIS setup is only required if I am
running X applications?

I can run the libc5 application on the server just fine. When I run ldd
against my command the only file listed was libc.so.5 .

I guess I am just looking for direction to solve this problem.

thanks,

Lach
