ELX is really just a beginning at something they hope will be a more refined product later.. On three of my systems, it wouldn't even run the installation program. Then too, only one of my machine will run Calderas or Lycoris (same installer). Red Hat and Mandrake and Debian run fine on all of them.... I think Caldera and it sounds like Lycoris are much more refined desktop choices.
