Evgeny,
I am using a method to pull down .pdf drawings from a web server into a directory on a
linux server. I have a script that "polls" that directory every few minutes and sends
all of the files to a specified network printer. It's kind of clunky but it prevents
users from having to open every pdf file individually to print it (we print 100's of
pdf's every day).
Instead of print to printer, a user could just print to file from any app into that
directory to have documents printed (this is how I tested the process in the
beginning).
Perhaps a similar solution would work for you, unless of course there is a more direct
way of handling printing from local apps.
Cheers,
rob
