mknbi-1.2-7 did solve that problem with my i486(s). Many thanks Ken.
BUT, the kernel prepared with it reboots one of my Pentia every time I try to 
boot it. That is not a big problem, one can use one kernel for the i486 and 
other for the Pentia, but I though I should inform you.
