Any other things you would know of that would allow us to use it for home and remote office. Pcanywhere does this easy for micr....
anyhow back to part above will that type of connection make it better, or is that the type of connection you were thinking of? I know security is a problem I wish i knew of something other than nfs to use. Also what i wanted to do was have a small box here and at the remote location that acted as a mini server for print, cable or dsl connection, vpn. I want to run a secure vpn though from main to remote and kerberos encryption. I might be able to get away with running several of the programs and os on the remote server, but i still need to connect to several things at the main location like database. That would still be a pain though because any upgrades we would need to go to the remote location to do them. please tell me if there is anything that i am missing or could do better. maybe some more ideas.
