Sorry, i realize that that my last post sounded a bit confusing. Basically im trying to find the easiest way to do a terminal server. It doesn't have to be really cheap or anything, just cheaper than the microsoft implementation. We are low on IT staff and I would like to find a way to centeralize most of the IT work at the main office. I want a centeral repository for applications, that whether it be a office, remote office, or home user to have the availability of use. Not all of this has to do with LTSP but LTSP i think is the medium.
One of the things i am curius about, is there anything that compresses better than ssh, concerned with security but using vpn. ...
