Ananda,

You can't use 192.168.0.1 for both the server and the client.

So, try changing the IP address of your server to 192.168.0.254.

I think there are 2 places you need to look.

1)  Edit the /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
    file and change the address there.

2)  Edit the /etc/hosts file, and if the address for the
    server is there, change it.

Then reboot the server.
