Hello, this is my first post to the list. I have the following problem
with Intel 810 Chipset motherboard with on board AGP graphic card. I
have tried the following but no luck.
1. If I keep the configuration to default, the machine hangs.
2. If I change the configuration for this particular workstation and add
the line
MODULE_01=agpgart.o
Then then machine doesn't hang but I don't get any display. When I do
Alt-F1, I don't see any errors and it appears as though X is still running.
netstat -ap | grep xdmcp doesn't show KDM/GDM running on any PID.
3. What I did was I get the XF86Config file from that machines hard disk
and put in the server. I made the following changes in lts.conf
XF86CONFIG_FILE=XF86Config.tc2
Now I get this error:
Error from xf86HandleConfigFile
Fatal Server Error
No screens found
