First: a problem of Zen: you're trying to put too much on the cluster. Not
because the ram or cpu is insufficient, but the security is. Firewalls and 'Cluster'
boxes go together as badly as webservers and email machines.
...it's also a horrendous pain to fritter away many hours thinking it's a server
problem when it's just a blocked port, or portsentry misunderstanding a bootp request.
Take my advice: get'cha a simple, nothing-but-net router/firewall who's only
concern is passing packets. No logins, nothing extraneous, just a solid box. You can

Heck, this one's even set up to be admin'ed from a webserver. It relieves you
from the software loading and most of the setup. And the tech support is good on it,
too!
