    I have that, too.  Using the older kernel will help...as long as your network card 
isn't too old (in my case, just a little over a year!).

    If you're set up the same way that I am, you'll get to another roadblock about 
needing to pass parameters with the "option-129" line.  It didn't work for me...but 
I'll have to scavenge a floppy drive someplace to get around it.  :(
