Hi! I installed SuSE 8.0 on my server with LTSP 3.0.3. I donīt want to use DHCP but BOOTP. I created the /etc/bootptab and changed the entry in /etc/inetd.conf. My clients boot the kernel but at the end, the system shows the following message: ---------------------------------------- Running dhclient Segmenation fault . . . ERROR! dhclient failed! Kernel panic:Attempted to kill init! ----------------------------------------
Is there a method to disable DHCP and enable BOOTP? Thanks in advance.
