Hi all,
I am running a P166 with 64Mb Ram and RTL8129 Nic terminal that I thought it
was
going to be faster on booting. The process starts fast getting the ip address
and downloading the kernel from the server, but when it gets to the "pivot_root"
the thing gets very slow from there on. In total the process takes about 4-5 (
not 45! :-) ) minutes from when it starts getting the ip to the login screen.
To me this does not seem very normal, but maybe I am expecting too much from
the
166. Any comments?
