i dont know if im just reposting something everybody
knows, (i havent found any success whit rpl nics in
the list), but however.
the mantainer of rpl give me the tric: make rpl
download an etherboot image and the rest is trivial
after installing rpld, put something like this in your
rpld.conf:
HOST
{
ethernet = 00:d0:09:af:82:20;
FILE
{
path = "/tmp/eb-5.0.5-sis900.lzrom";
load = 0x10000;
};
execute=0x10006;
};
and start rpld. i hope this is useful for someone.
im using a sis900 nic in a m755 pcchips motherboard
with a novell rpl client, by the way etherboot 5.0.6
for the sis900 seems to be buggy use an earlier
release
