One thing you may check is what Windows username you used to "login" into W98 (another 
username entirely separate from Samba/Linux). Check this by reading "Start Menu -> 
Logoff xxx" where xxx is the Windows username. 

If this xxx username is not what you've been using to connect to the LTSP server from 
other machines. Then it's easiest to "Start -> Logoff" W98 and then use the username 
and password you are using to connect to the LTSP server in the Login dialog box.
This should automatically connect with these username/password combination when you 
click on a share.

Alternatively, manually map the share at \\ltspserver\sharename%username to a drive 
letter. This should then connect to the share using the "username" and password that 
you give in the password prompt box. But I've not found this to be guaranteed to work 
tho.
