I've got a customer with 120 workstations, and it runs great.

the server is a Dual P3-650 with 1gb of ram.  At any given
time, there are probably 30-40 people using StarOffice, and
probably another 40-50 people running netscape.

Most of the users are also using xterm and tn5250 to connect
to another server.
