The city of Largo, Florida: 800 users, 400 clients. One server!

Server is Dual 933mHz (doesn't say what kind of processor), 3GB ram, 18GB
disk, redundant power supplies, $9,500. (Seems they built it themselves.)

*AND* they run KDE 2! Crazy! (Probably what all the ram is for.)

However, they don't *specifically* say they use LTSP software. They could
have come up with their own implementation, but there's nothing in the
article that explicitly says that.
