After much work I have the ltsp booting and comming up fine except for a problem with one of the fonts used in Gnome. When I get the Gnome logon box the phrase 'Welcome to prod.home.com' is distorted - pixelated maybe - impossible to read. But when I enter the user and pswd the text that appears in the bottom of the login box looks just fine. When I get the desktop up the Gnome and kde menus have the same problem while Netscape looks ok for the most part but still has a few lines with that font problem. It is not a corrupt font as I get this wether I am using the ltsp fonts from opt/ltsp/i386....... or the RedHat xfs server using the RedHat fonts. I have also chaned the font with -fn and get the same result. I am using XF86_SVGA. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Buddy Bell
