Why not put a HD in the clients you want, do anything you want on that disk,
and get a lilo image from rom-o-matic.net

Then boot message screen on the client:

ltsp
your-image-1
your-image-more-than-1

boot the one you want. The ltsp image means no network boot is needed.
and runs a normal ltsp client, the other images do what you want on
the local HD eg winders linux etc
