Did you read the entire document? There are detailed instructions 
further on from the overview of steps. Chapter 6 deals with 
troubleshooting. It is a good idea to go through that.

What *does* it say? Mounting request authenticated OK? It should 
say *something*. Are you sure that NFS runs? what does rpcinfo -p 
tell you?
