Hello, everyone -- I had no idea that merely mentioning that I'm working on an LTSP step-by-step how-to would make a half-finished document so popular! In its present form it does not follow any Linux-world standards for documentation, and I'm a little too ashamed of it to put it up on the Web yet. But it is taking all of my time to reply to requests for copies, so I am going to have to do something. I have just written to Jim asking what I need to do to make it acceptable. I would like to get it into a format that Jim could "bless," and finish writing it. I told him that if he would be willing to accept it someday as an official LTSP document that I will be happy to be its maintainer. Some people have written to me about contributing or collaborating on this document. I presume that the best vehicle for doing that is through SourceForge. As soon as I have finished this message, I shall go to SF and learn as much as I can about that process. Thank you all for your interest.
