Not bad for being new to this.  This works for existing users that you
want to setup this way.  But what about new users?  Simple.  Copy all
your configured stuff in your sample user's home directory to the
/etc/skel directory.  This directory is read from whenever a new user is
added to the system.  So for them to be automatically setup with the
default profiles of the system that you want them to have, you simply
copy any configuration files that should be in their newly created $HOME
directory into /etc/skel.
