LTSP Folks:
Our school network has several machines on a LTSP network (Mandrake
8.2), as well as stand-alone machines. All works well, except for one
thing - In LTSP, Open Office saves documents to user folders, and then
gives an "unrecoverable error" message. Other programs such as KWord
and Mozilla do not do this. Open Office does not have this problem on
the networked stand-alone machines.
I am running NIS and NFS so that users can access their desktops from
any machine. I actually have four LSTP "subnets" running in the larger
network.
Anyone else had this experience?
