Hi all folks,
In converting obsolete PCs as diskless workstations the monitor becomes a
problem. Most of them can only support 640x480 or 800x600 resolutions and
low colour depth. The PC can boot and connect the LTSP Server. But the
screen is vibrating and could not be read. In some case I changed a newer
model monitor then it worked. The graphic card seems not a major
problem. However it does not bear much sense to purchase a new monitor for
an old PC.
Kindly advise whether is there a remedy?
Thanks in advance.
Stephen Liu
