Kurt,

You have installed ltsp_core and ltsp_kernel, but you didn't
say that you have installed ltsp_x_core, which you will need.

Also, the 'rpm -q' command should work, but you didn't
use the correct package name.  You DO NOT need the '.rpm' on
the end of it.

You should try something like this:

    rpm -qa | grep ltsp

That will list all of the ltsp packages that are installed.

Also, you should probably install the ltsp_x_fonts package, unless you
know how to configure xfs on your server.

Take a look at http://www/LTSP.org/instructions-3.0.html for some
more help on getting the correct packages installed.
