Environment:
Running Redhat 8.2
Downloaded latest version of ltsp from ltsp.org site.
Install (manual) went smoothly.
Modified lts.conf, hosts and other files fine (used old examples that
previously worked for me so I am fairly sure that I have the IP
addresses etc. set up correctly).
Went to troubleshooting section of ltsp manual from ltsp.org. Manual
date 3/2/02 Rev 3.0 Page 20 section 6.2.2 and tried the various
suggestons there without success. Indications are that I do not have
dhcpd running so I finally tried
service dhcpd start
but I get the following:
dhcpd: unrecognized error.
How do I start dhcpd in Redhat and how do I arrange it so that it will
start automatically every time??
Wordstation symptoms: Searching for server (dhcp) . And then hangs.
