Well see- this is what I call the Sendmail phenomenon. Sendmail's been around for
decades. It's a bitch. The original sendmail configurators (the people) were gods,
and nothing else on the planet could be more flexible or more difficult for a newbie
to set up. But once you've successfully installed it enough times, it becomes easy-
you know what to look for, as well as how it works.
You've gotten onto a method that works for you; I've never even touched PXE. Much
of the hardware I've got to choose from are so dissimilar that manual configuration is
always required...but that's after the initial 'boot' phase.

Sorry, I've now removed all traces of LTSP from the server box; the Jammin-125 is
sitting here with me wondering what I'll do with it. I'll probably find a way to
reuse it somehow.

Yeah, I first hoped for the best, but then had'em start up under runlevel 3, and
did a LOT of that. I spent hours experimenting...and wondering how much of that time
the customer would be willing to pay for, and how much I'd do for free.
It's just too involved, sorry.
