Daniel,
the wall-mart pc uses VIA mb, not Epia, but C3 800MHz. This is the
one with a processor fan and somewhat larger form factor - 3 pci slots.
you can not run them in absolute quiet, they will not fit in the very
small casetronic box, but they are just fine otherwise. what i did with
mine was to dump lindows, recycle the disk drives and use the boxes as
bootable terminals. i am rethinking the use of ltsp in the small branch
offices, and actually running a full blown linux on the desktop might be a
pretty good solution that avoids the cost of a server. the wal-mart boxes
would be good for it, after memory upgrade - 64MB is not adequate to run
oo and other stuff locally. julius
